Peas and Daal Kachori

Kachori Dough 


Ingredients:
1 bowl plain flour 
1/2 bowl wheat flour 
1/2 bowl Suji (semolina)
1 tablespoon oil
1/2 teaspoon salt

Method:
1.Mix all ingredients together than bit by bit
2.Add warm water make dough as medium texture 
3.Cover the dough and let it rest for 1 hour


Yellow moong daal

Ingredients:
1 bowl soak 20 minutes 
1 tablespoon oil
1 teaspoon mustard seed 
1 tablespoon spoon chopped ginger and green chillies
1 pinch hing (astofidia)
1 teaspoon haldi powder1
1 teaspoon red chilli powder 
1 tablespoon dhania jeera powder 
1 teaspoon Sugar (optional)
1 tablespoon lemon juice 

Method:

  1. Heat up oil in a frying pan add mustard seeds wait till the seeds start to crackle and add the hing and all the ingredients add 1/2 bowl of water.
  2. Allow to cook and water to evaporate
  3. Once cooked add the add lemon.

Peas
Ingredients:

1 bowl frozen peas mashed a little bit 
1 teaspoon cumin seed
1 tablespoon garam masala 
1 tablespoon chopped ginger and chillies 
1 teaspoon salt according to taste 
2 tablespoon lemon juice 
1 tablespoon dry coconut 
1 tablespoon sugar 
3 tablespoon chopped coriander 

Method:
1.Heat up oil to a frying pan add cumin seeds wait till they start to pop and add the ingredients
2. Once cooked after a few minutes, add lemon juice
3. Mix both Peas and Daal and let cool down
4. Roll out small puris (circles) from the dough and fill up with the mix according to size give a shape of round kachori fry them on  a medium heat until crispy brown
